Job Skills Set Certificate

Based on a typical semester of 7 credit hours, costs would be:
Tuition: $805 per semester
Lab fee: $50 per credit hour in lab = $350
Books & materials: $250
Total: $1,405 for the first semester

One Year Technical Studies Certificate and Associate of Applied Science Degree

Based on a typical semester of 15 credit hours, costs would be:
Tuition: $1,350 per semester
Lab fee: $450
Books & materials: $250
Total: $2,050 for the first semester

Financial aid may be available through scholarships and federal loans.

Note: All college credit classes in woodworking also are open to the general public for a daily fee.

The New River Community & Technical College requires students to have a high school diploma or meet the GED requirements in order to be eligible for admission to a certificate or associates degree programs.
