Our workshop is a 3,300 foot facility located in the village of Marlinton. Along side the shop runs the Greenbrier river trail, and a short walk away is the river itself. We are three blocks from the downtown that serves as the seat of Pocahontas county. Students find a short ride down the trail can solve many a design problem.

All of our equipment within the facility is connected to a state of the art dust collection system and all areas are wheelchair accessible, including our second floor benchroom.

The first floor of our shop is where we have positioned our heavy stationary equipment. Here are such tools as our 24’ planer alongside a 24” & 12 “ jointer. Two 36” bandsaws, a heavy duty shaper, two belt sanders, and two saws are the primary tools . We have just added a 4’ x 4’ cnc carving machine along side a 15” open sided sander.
The rest of the ground floor is a dedicated finishing room, and a front office/ media room. State of the art computers are provided along with current design/ sketch programs.
Our classes originate from the second floor benchroom, accessible by elevator. Our longer term students are provided with an assigned bench and wall cabinet, supplied with a full complement of hand tools. All other tools such as carving, drilling, sanding and turning tools come from a central supply.
